Monthly updates
Core, theme and plugin updates applied once a month with visual regression checks, quietly, in a planned maintenance window.
Hourly off-site backups
Acronis-powered hourly off-site backups stored away from the live server. Restores tested, not 'set and forget'.
Malware detection
ImunifyAV scans every file daily. If something nasty turns up we let you know and quote a clean-up.
Uptime monitoring
5-minute uptime checks via UptimeRobot with email alerts. We're usually fixing it before you know it's down.
Cloudflare on your domain
Set up during onboarding, DDoS protection, global CDN, free SSL and a measurable speed bump for free.
Sensible hardening
2FA on the WordPress admin, login throttling, file-edit lockdown and a tidy-up of unused themes and plugins.
Monthly health report
An auto-generated PDF showing what was updated, uptime, security scans and Lighthouse scores, emailed to you.

Care Packages only work when we control the stack and have the keys we need. None of this is optional, but all of it is straightforward.
Hosting transferred to TechTiger
Care Packages run on our managed Australian cPanel hosting account so we control the stack, the backups and the support escalation path. Hosting is billed separately, once a year, and quoted based on your site size.
Vendor logins for paid themes / plugins
If your site uses a premium theme or plugin (ThemeForest, Elegant Themes, paid Elementor add-ons, etc.) you'll need to share the vendor account login. Without it we can't apply security updates or rebuild the site after an emergency.
Cloudflare on your domain
We'll set up Cloudflare's free tier on your domain during onboarding. It needs a 5-minute change to your nameservers, we'll walk you through it, or you can transfer your domain to TechTiger and we'll manage it for you.

Why it matters

The vast majority of WordPress hacks exploit known vulnerabilities in out-of-date plugins, patches the developer released months earlier. A monthly maintenance cadence, paired with Cloudflare and hourly off-site backups, closes that window long before bots find it.

What does $99/month actually buy me?+
A Perth-based human running monthly WordPress updates with regression checks, hourly off-site Acronis backups, ImunifyAV malware scans, UptimeRobot monitoring, Cloudflare on your domain and an auto-generated monthly PDF report, plus 15 minutes of priority support time that rolls over one month.
Do I have to host with TechTiger?+
Yes. Care Packages require your site to be on our managed Australian hosting account. One invoice, one number to call, one team responsible end-to-end. Hosting is billed separately each year and quoted based on the size of your site.
Why monthly instead of weekly?+
Honesty. A weekly cadence sounds great in marketing but means rushed work and missed regressions. A planned monthly maintenance window, with proper visual regression checks and a real human reviewing the result, catches more breakage than four hurried weekly passes.
What if my theme came from ThemeForest or another paid vendor?+
We'll need the vendor account login so we can download updates and reinstall the theme in an emergency. If you don't have it, we'll help you recover or repurchase the licence as part of onboarding.
Is there a lock-in contract?+
No fixed term. Month-to-month, cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. Hosting is annual but pro-rated on cancellation.
What if my site gets hacked?+
We'll quote the clean-up at a fixed rate. Care Plus and WooCommerce / Custom clients go to the front of the queue. Hourly off-site backups mean we can usually roll back to a clean state within an hour or two of you giving the go-ahead.
Do care packages cover content changes?+
Small edits, a price tweak, a new staff bio, a banner swap, are covered by your monthly support time (and unused minutes roll over one month). Larger redesigns or new features are quoted separately.
What about Core Web Vitals and performance tuning?+
Cloudflare and a properly-configured caching plugin handle ~80% of the work, set up once during onboarding. Care Plus clients get a Lighthouse review summarised in the monthly report. Active tuning beyond that is quoted per site.
